Grading
Process "Limits
of Liability": Due to the unique characteristics of currency
grading, Currency Grading & Certification Inc. (C.G.C.) shall
not be liable for any discrepancy in the grading of currency. It is
acknowledged that the grading of currency involves an individuals
experience & judgment, which may vary from each individual person
doing the grading and from time to time. Although "Consistency"
is strived for!
C.G.C. agrees that upon receipt of currency from a client that it
will use its best efforts to secure the currency in a safe and satisfactory
manner. That it will place said currency in an approved vault (TL-15
rated) with reasonable security apparatuses in place to ensure the
protection of said currency. C.G.C. does carry independent insurance
on all vaulted currency. C.G.C. shall catalog and assign an identification
number to all currency upon receipt. C.G.C. its agents and employees
shall utilize the latest in computer technology and other equipment
to aid them in the grading process. Grading and certification of all
currency shall only be undertaken by qualified and experienced individuals
in their field and areas of specialty. After grading the currency
the said currency is then encapsulated in a C.G.C. holder and combined
with the appropriate grading label. Currency shall not be handled
except during the grading process, which will be by experienced personnel
only. Once notes are sent by C.G.C., and received by customer, C.G.C.
is not responsible for any future damage to either the holder or note(s)
that may occur. Please refer to the C.G.C. care instructions when
handling (or shipping) C.G.C. notes. We at C.G.C. strive to meet and
exceed the highest standards of our clients. The care, security and
the grading accuracy of your notes is our highest priority.
Grading
Terms and Procedures
C.G.C.
warrants to use due diligence in grading currency. C.G.C. will also
make every effort possible to research each note in regards to its
previously denoted grade (if one exists). However it makes no other
warranties either expressed or implied. All parties recognize that
the grading of currency involves individual professional judgment
by experts and the grades assigned to currency may vary from grader
to grader.
C.G.C. shall not be liable for any discrepancy or negligence in its
handling of currency unless notice in writing is given to C.G.C. within
five (5) days of receipt of same by the owner via certified mail return
receipt requested.
C.G.C. shall not be liable for any damage to currency resulting from
taking said currency out of C.G.C. holder, or any other mishandling
that has occurred while the currency was not in our care.
C.G.C. shall be entitled to its fee for grading the currency notwithstanding
the fact that the currency fails to meet the owner's expectations
or due to the note not grading by C.G.C. standards.
C.G.C. shall not be liable for any clerical error in the description
or grading of currency; its sole liability shall be limited to correcting
the clerical error.
C.G.C. will try to grade currency within the time frame allotted for
the service. If for any reason C.G.C. is unable to grade said currency
in that time C.G.C. shall have no liability, except for express services,
which may at our discretion, be
discounted to regular service rates.
C.G.C. reserves the right to amend, alter and change its terms and
conditions without prior notice.
The terms of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State
of Arizona without regard to principles of conflict of laws. Any dispute
shall be submitted to arbitration under the rules of The American
Arbitration Association. The venue for any dispute shall be in the
State of Arizona. All parties hereto waive trial by jury.
Submitter's
Responsibilities
1.) Sign agreement (front of form, bottom left)
2.) Complete Shipping Instructions
3.) Complete Submission Schedule codes for each and every note listed.
4.) Complete all descriptive information contained on the spreadsheet.
5.) Calculate Total shipping/Insurance rates (*remember there can
be multiple shipping fees if you've
chosen several different
turn-around times.
6.) Calculate Total Grading and Shipping fees and insert total on
front of form.
7.) Please place each note in a separate holder. Remove any note(s)
from "hard case" holders prior
to submission and place in Mylar-type holder. If any note(s) are submitted
in hard case holders please add a $5 per note removal fee..
