FR 1200 US 1922 GOLD CERTIFICATE PCGS 58PPQ! Finest in Appearance! GRANT Note This Gold Certificate, at almost 100 Years old, has basically perfect centering / margins! In fact, there are only a handful ever graded higher! This piece has been listed for many decades as an Uncirculated note in the Gengerke census and certainly appears to be that way in or out of the holder. Not sure what was held it back from a full Unc. Grade, but it’s certainly not apparent. SCARCE note, literally Only 7 pieces have ever made it to the Gem grade and I’ve handled several of those and this piece appears far superior aesthetically (including a 66). The Paper is of the Bright White variety, which really contrasts nicely with the dark black inks, really pops! The corners are razor sharp with gorgeous original paper! This note type is highly sought after and will certainly please even the most discriminate of collectors! A full Gem Fr 1200 would undoubtedly run about $30k+, so this opportunity at a fraction of the price is a VERY RARE Opportunity!
