FR 2211-G "High Denomination" $1,000 P.C.G.S. 58
FR 2211a-G 1934 $1,000 Federal Reserve Note PCGS 58 Looks GEM+++!
This note looks Gem to me, I’ve examined it for a long time and do not see any folds (or pressed out folds), but in any event, this note looks as GEM as GEM can be! It has gorgeous white paper and very sharp corners and very well balanced margins. A very flashy piece at a fraction of a Gem price tag! This note is absolutely beyond it's technical grade, in the sense that the paper is brighter than normal (the '34 paper is normally much "whiter" than the 34a's, but this piece is even "brighter" than the normal whiter paper). The corners are sharp and the seal is also very vibrant, it's not a "full light green seal" but it's much brighter than the dark seals. There are actually six (6) shades of green seals, ranging from forest green all the way to light (lime) green seals. This particular piece is one shade away from a full light green seal status, but has even nicer paper than a LGS. For the 1934 type this note is aesthetically a masterpiece!
