British West Africa P10a "River Scene" P.C.G.S 58PPQ
BRITISH WEST AFRICA P10a "RIVER SCENE" 20 SHILLINGS 1953 PCGS 58PPQ
BRITISH WEST AFRICA P11b "RIVER" C.G.C. 67PQ
BRITISH WEST AFRICA P11b "RIVER SCENE" 100 SHILLINGS / 5 POUNDS - 1953 CGC 67PQ FINEST KNOWN BY ALL CO'S! THERE ARE ONLY (I BELIEVE) 4 of these in Unc. Known in the World (3 are in 64 and 1 in 65) and are all from the SAME SERIAL # little run of Unc's. The set contains the 10/- Shilling, 20 Shilling and the 100/- Shjllings (5 Pounds). I have searched the world over and have waited over 3 YEARS to find this note!!! The Colors are incredible and the margins are broad and even. There are only 4 Unc's known (including this piece) that have ever been certified and I've seen two of of the others and both had very tilted designs (64's) and the other one, I have seen it, is a 65, it does have a tilted design but not as bad as the other consecutive pieces.
There was an XF (raw) that recently sold (later 2014) for $3,500 and an AU (raw) that just for $5,000. I'm extrapolating than a Ch Unc. (64) would be worth $6.5k and the Only GEM 65 (would be worth $8.5k to $9k. There are NO 66's but would guess that would be worth about $12.5k, putting this FINEST KNOWN 67PQ at the top and valued at $15k. Truly an honor to have this piece finally (in Unc.)
